Cargo van sales have more than doubled in the U.S. over the last five years, according to numbers from Edmunds.com which Bloomberg posted on its website. There is such demand that Ford released a commercial for a van—something the Blue Oval hadn't done in 45 years. While cargo vans are definitely not the most stylish vehicles out there, the clip made quite an impact: Ford managed to sell more vans last month than in any April in almost 30 years. If the trend continues, cargo van sales in the U.S. will reach 475,000 units by the end of 2015. With their amazing versatility and hauling capacities, not to mention their efficient, judiciously powered engines, a growing number of businesses on both sides of the border are taking advantage of the various van models on the market.
