Ford has announced that its all-new GT supercar, which stunned everyone at the NAIAS in Detroit last month, will be built in Ontario by its long-time partner Multimatic Motorsports. The assembly line will begin rolling next year. Ford is expected to produce only a few hundred GTs a year and sell them at more than $200,000 USD apiece. Largely made of aluminum and carbon fibre, and boasting a 600-horsepower engine, the Ford GT is one of 12 sports models the company will launch through its new Ford Performance division by 2020, joining the Focus RS, F-150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby GT350R and others.
